On March 22, the 32nd China (Beijing) International Building Decorations & Building Materials Exhibition, or BJBD2023 , wrapped up. The event was organized by China International Exhibition Center Group Co., Ltd., GL events, and China Construction Metal Structure Association and undertaken by CIEC GL events£¨Beijing£©International Exhibition Co., Ltd.

As a well-established event in the industry, BJBD2023 focuses on new momentum for the upgrading and high-quality development of home building materials, and draws future blueprints of the home building and decoration industry with diversified exhibits, ideas and thoughts.

Leveraging Industry Resources to Promote High-Quality Development of the Whole Industry Chain

Leveraging the strengths of the whole industry chain, the 4-day exhibition covered whole-house customization, new building materials, woodworking machinery, system doors and windows, door and window accessories, smart home,  customization accessories, kitchen and cabinets, home hardware, etc.

BJBD2023 not only signaled the recovery of industry layout, but also showcased its latest technology, visionary ideas and future trends. The exhibition revealed three trends that would shape the future of China¡¯s home building materials industry:

Significant   development   potential   in many segments: eco-friendly boards, smart home, kitchen storage space and many other segments caught a lot of attention. Many visitors were impressed by the fiberboards and particleboards independently developed by Baishida, which are flame retardant, moisture resistant, mildew resistant, phenolic compact laminate, aldehyde-free, Lambert home lighting by CNSC Fortune Hardware, the latest kitchen storage space by Kessebohmer, Germany and Peka, Switzerland, and new closet storage products from Kessebohmer and Lambert also attracted flocks of visitors.

The trend of integration: home furnishing enterprises are exploring new breakthroughs, new developments, and new models. Their products are becoming increasingly integrated. Home design, pursuing a diversified and personalized living space, reflects the changes in consumer demand. This also sets higher requirements for the industry and enterprises. During the exhibition, a number of brands displayed new integrated door, wall and cabinet solutions.

High quality development: Innovative technologies make automatic/electric doors and smart home shining. Ruize exhibited its second-generation revolving door that features the first leading safe design. This patented technology filled the gap in the national standard in China.

These trends will drive the home building industry into a new era and create new momentum for the future.

At New Momentum, New Consumption ¨C 2023 Home Consumer Confidence Forum, representatives of chambers of commerce, exhibitions, enterprises, and media offered suggestions on how to explore the consumer market and business development. A number of forums were also held on custom home furnishing, wooden doors and other fields, sharing the latest information and bringing innovative thinking to the industry. Some of the forums were live-streamed for a broader audience, helping exhibitors connect with online visitors and promoting the positive development of the industry.
