Sirha Lyon, the leading international trade fair for the hotel and food services sector, took place from 19 to 23 January at Eurexpo Lyon. This five-day event brought together trade professionals to develop new business opportunities, and to discuss and share ideas about the latest developments and trends in the sector.

Piscine Global Europe is back after 4 years of absence

The 40th Piscine Global Europe took place in Eurexpo Lyon from October 15 to 18, 2022. Dedicated to the international swimming pool industry, this exhibition is organized and hosted by the GL events Group.

The Lumière Film Festival renews its partnership with the Group

As the cradle of cinema, the City of Lyon has hosted the Lumière Film Festival since 2009. Every year, this internationally renowned festival celebrates the history of the film industry, and has already awarded prizes to iconic figures, such as Clint Eastwood, Ken Loach, Quentin Tarantino and Jane Fonda. This year, the 14th Lumière Film Festival was held from 15 to 23 October, with Tim Burton receiving the famous Prix Lumière for his life’s work.

GL events, service provider for the Sommet de l'Élevage 2022

The Sommet de l'Élevage (Livestock Trade Show) took place from 4 to 7 October 2022 at the Grande Halle d'Auvergne, an event venue managed by GL events in Clermont-Ferrand. For its 31st anniversary, the Sommet de l'Élevage – one of the world's largest trade shows in the livestock sector – welcomed nearly 1,500 exhibitors.

45 years of the Cannes Yachting Festival

The Cannes Yachting Festival took place from 6 to 11 September 2022 in the port of Cannes. For its 45th anniversary, the Europe's largest in-water show welcomed 600 exhibitors and more than 54,000 French and international visitors who were delighted to discover nearly 650 boats of all kinds.

GL events, service provider to the World Athletics Championships Oregon 2022

From 15 to 24 July 2022, the United States hosted the 18th World Athletics Championships in Oregon. More than 2,000 athletes, representing roughly 200 countries, took part in this prestigious competition. The GL events Group is proud to have contributed to this major event as a service provider, working alongside its partner Eventstar.
