The Lumière Film Festival renews its partnership with the Group

As the cradle of cinema, the City of Lyon has hosted the Lumière Film Festival since 2009. Every year, this internationally renowned festival celebrates the history of the film industry, and has already awarded prizes to iconic figures, such as Clint Eastwood, Ken Loach, Quentin Tarantino and Jane Fonda. This year, the 14th Lumière Film Festival was held from 15 to 23 October, with Tim Burton receiving the famous Prix Lumière for his life’s work.

GL events, service provider for the Sommet de l'Élevage 2022

The Sommet de l'Élevage (Livestock Trade Show) took place from 4 to 7 October 2022 at the Grande Halle d'Auvergne, an event venue managed by GL events in Clermont-Ferrand. For its 31st anniversary, the Sommet de l'Élevage – one of the world's largest trade shows in the livestock sector – welcomed nearly 1,500 exhibitors.

A first for LOU Rugby

The very first InVersion Festival took place on 17 and 18 June at the Matmut Stadium in Gerland, Lyon.

The food retail event in Brazil

Super Rio Expofood, the event dedicated to the food retail sector, took place from 21 to 23 March at Riocentro (an event space managed by the GL events Group) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It brings together all professionals in the food sector such as restaurants, supermarkets, bars, hotels, suppliers and distributors. 

A tradition postponed but perpetuated

From 16 to 29 April, the Distrito Anhembi‘ Sambadrome, now called the "Passarela Cultural" (Cultural Walkway) hosted the Sao Paulo Carnival, as it does every year. 

A new edition full of success

Organised by Toulouse Événements, a subsidiary of the GL events Group, the 7th edition of the SMAHRT (South-West Catering, Hotel and Food Trade Exhibition) took place from 20 to 22 March 2022 at the MEETT, the new Exhibition Centre in Toulouse.

From 30 October to 3 November 2019, the 25th Equita Lyon brought together some 175,000 visitors for this event, which covered 140,000m² of exhibition space at Eurexpo Lyon. Top international riders, amateurs and enthusiasts got together for 5 days celebrating the world of horse and riding. 

A Eurexpo Lyon acolheu, de 26 a 30 de janeiro de 2019, a 19ª edição do Sirha. Neste parque de exposições expandido de 10.000 m² com a abertura do Hall 7, mais de 225.000 profissionais, incluindo 30.000 internacionais, foram recebidos para 5 dias de encontros, discussões e inovações.

Os ministros da França, Reino Unido, Japão, Canadá, Estados Unidos, Itália e Alemanha se reuniram em 5 e 6 de maio no Metz Congrès Robert Schuman para Reuniões do G7 sobre Ambiente, Oceanos e Energia com o objetivo de debaterem os desafios da transição global da energia.
