From 30 October to 3 November 2019, the 25th Equita Lyon brought together some 175,000 visitors for this event, which covered 140,000m² of exhibition space at Eurexpo Lyon. Top international riders, amateurs and enthusiasts got together for 5 days celebrating the world of horse and riding.
The 30th South-East Asian Games (SEA Games) were held in the Philippines from 30 November to 11 December 2019. Organised every two years in South East Asia, this event involved several different sports and brought together 8,750 athletes from 11 countries who came to defend their colours in 56 disciplines.
From 2 to 14 December 2019, the Madrid Conference on climate change - organised by the United Nations - brought together Heads of State and representatives from many countries, as well as NGOs and experts, in order to address the world's major climate issues. GL events was involved in the logistics organisation, technical recommendations and supply of equipment for COP25.
The Moulin Rouge - a genuine icon and emblem of the French capital - celebrated its 130th anniversary on 6 October 2019. For the occasion, an exclusive sound and light show was produced by GL events to pay tribute to the world-famous cabaret.
From 26 to 30 January 2019Eurexpo Lyon hosted the 19th Sirha. With the opening of the new Hall 7 providing an addition 10,000m² of exhibition space, Eurexpo Lyon welcomed more than 225,000 trade professionals, including some 30,000 from abroad, for 5 days of meetings, discussions and innovation.
The second Global Industrie, an international exhibition devoted to industry, took place from 5 to 8 March 2019. The event is organised by GL events and was held in Lyon for the first time in 2019. It brought together companies of all sizes, industrial manufacturers and start-ups, as well as public authorities, trade organisations, investors and students.

Organised every 4 years, the Asian Games bring together athletes from all over Asia to compete in a total of 44 disciplines. The 18th edition took place from 18 August 18 to 2 September in Indonesia, with events in Jakarta and Palembang. Some 11,000 athletes defended the colours of their country in a total of 463 events.
The French Formula 1 Grand Prix returned to the Paul Ricard Circuit in 2018, after a ten-year absence. This major competition took place from 21 to 24 June 2018, and racing fans enjoyed a great programme of exciting, fun events and activities, including autograph sessions with the drivers, free practice sessions during which the teams fine-tune their cars’ settings, the drivers’ parade around the track, and a great concert.
