The 9th China-South Asia Expo
The 9th China-South Asia Expo (hereinafter referred to as “CSAE”) was grandly held from June 19 to 24, 2025, at the Kunming Dianchi Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center. This highly anticipated international event attracted over 280 foreign guests from 73 countries, regions, and international organizations, as well as more than 2,500 domestic and international enterprises, including 121 Fortune Global 500, China 500, and industry-leading companies. More than 3,000 buyers from home and abroad participated in procurement activities, covering all countries in South Asia and Southeast Asia. As of 12:00 PM on the 24th, this year’s CSAE had facilitated the signing of 153 commercial contracts, amounting to 8.479 billion yuan, with total attendance exceeding 500,000 visits. It has become a landmark platform for deepening cooperation between China and South Asian countries.
The exhibition was large in scale, featuring 16 exhibition halls with a total exhibition area of 160,000 square meters. It comprehensively showcased Yunnan’s industrial highlights and investment environment, providing a broad platform for enhancing economic, trade, and cultural exchanges between China, South Asia, and countries around the world. Its influence and appeal continue to grow annually, making it an important window for displaying China’s open and inclusive image as well as the unique cultures and competitive industries of South Asian countries.
