GL events’ core mission is contributing to successful meetings: congresses and conventions, cultural, sports, institutional and corporate events, trade shows and exhibitions for professionals and the general public. The specificity and unique strength of the Group’s business model are its ability to propose a comprehensive range of solutions covering the main sectors of the events industry. GL events assists its customers in France and other countries ensuring the success of their events over their entire life cycle, from definition to execution, for public and private companies, institutions and event organisers. In partnership with local authorities, the Group contributes to developing the attractiveness of regions and reinforcing their economic reach. GL events has in this way gradually become the partner of choice for international organisers for major international events like the Olympic Games, World Cups and international meetings. Present in more than 20 countries, in 2024 GL events had revenue of 1.635 billion (€1.634 billion under full IFRS). GL events is listed on Euronext Paris, Segment B (mid caps).

2006-2010
  • Established Greater China headquarters in Shanghai.
  • Served as the official provider for the Beijing 2008 Olympics.
  • Managed Pudong EXPO management Service, becoming a key MICE hub in East China.
2011-2015
  • Provided end-to-end solutions for high- profile events (G20 International Monetary Seminar, China-Europe Entrepreneurs Summit, Formula E Beijing Inaugural Race (with innovative event technology), etc.)
2016-2018
  • Established a strategic partnership in Greater Bay with 4 leading firms (ZZX, Imagine lab, GL events China, GL event furniture Asia) to collaborate on campaigns, events – including exhibitions, corporate organization and Venues one step solution.
  • Established GSO in China, a dedicated department within the Venues division, to develop GL events' offerings for Chinese clients and support their growth overseas.
  • Supported Bocuse d’Or Asia- Pacific Finals (Singapore & Guangzhou)
2019-2021
  • Established GSMO in China in exhibitions sector to streamline business interactions and improve client engagement
  • Entered textile/ fashion, healthcare, building & decoration, and agriculture through strategic collaborations, completing our exhibition ecosystem. Key partnerships included: Fashion Source Shenzhen, CACLP, Home Furnishing Expo, and Seed Expo.
  • Established dual-core operations at the Guangzhou Airport Convention and Exhibition Center and the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center, solidifying our market dominance in Southern China.
  • Implemented cross-regional synergy through key venues in Ningbo and Zibo, enhancing resource integration across Eastern and Northern markets.
2022-2025
  • Activated Capital International Exhibition & Convention Center, Beijing (premium venue upgrade)
  • Launched Shanxi Xiaohe International Exhibition & Convention Center (new market penetration)
  • Expanded Guangzhou Aerotropolis Expo Center operations (growth driven by enhanced transport infrastructure)
  • Operationalized Xiamen International Expo Center (expanding presence in the coastal economic zone)
  • Demonstrated international capabilities as official provider for COP 27 and COP16
