BEPOSITIVE 2025: A Catalyst for Innovation in the Energy Transition
From March 25 to 27, 2025, BEPOSITIVE returned to Eurexpo Lyon for a new edition that proved to be a key moment for stakeholders in the energy transition. Organized by GL events through its GreenTech+ division, this national and international event brought together industry players, decision-makers, local authorities, and businesses to exchange on tangible solutions to today’s energy and climate challenges.
A TRADE SHOW DEDICATED TO MAJOR ENERGY CHALLENGES
For over 20 years, BEPOSITIVE had been an accelerator of innovation and a hub for networking across the renewable energy, sustainable construction, and HVAC sectors. In 2025, more than 500 exhibitors and brands were present, alongside nearly 200 experts led over 100 conferences and workshops. The program was designed to decode trends and foster the emergence of solutions tailored to regulatory, technological, and economic developments. Visitors benefited from six personalized thematic tracks, covering regulation and financing, hybrid solutions and technologies, resource optimization, training and careers, as well as retrofitting and renovation.
Among the highlights, the European Solar Games shone a spotlight on photovoltaic installers in a first-of-its-kind competition in France. A dedicated conference on agrivoltaics, co-organized with SER and INES, explored the synergies between solar power and agriculture. The event also featured a special focus on bio-based materials, which were essential for tomorrow’s sustainable construction.
GL EVENTS: A STRONG COMMITMENT TO A SUSTAINABLE ENERGY TRANSITION
Through GreenTech+, GL events reinforced its commitment to supporting the energy transition and uniting industry stakeholders around a more sustainable model. This ambition was reflected in concrete actions during the event, such as the elimination of paper badges, the integration of recyclable materials into booth designs, and partnerships with associations to recover food and furniture waste.
A DYNAMIC PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTING INNOVATION
BEPOSITIVE 2025 featured a range of activities designed to spark dialogue and showcase the sector’s most cutting-edge solutions. The BEPOSITIVE Awards recognized outstanding innovations across four categories: bioenergy, renewable energy production, building & construction, and HVAC & electrical engineering. A dedicated employment and training area hosted multiple organizations to support professionals and emerging talent. A sustainable mobility zone also offered live demonstrations and test drives of various electric vehicles.
GL events reaffirmed its role as a driver of change by putting its expertise at the service of industries committed to the energy transition. Through an ecosystem of innovation, tangible solutions, and strategic networking, this trade show reflected the Group’s vision: to support professionals in the long run, foster collaboration, and accelerate the shift toward a more energy-efficient world.
