On April 15, 2025, the global plastics and rubber industry turned its attention to Shenzhen. Today, CHINAPLAS 2025 International Plastics and Rubber Exhibition officially opened at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao'an), marking the beginning of a four-day top-tier industry event. As a bellwether of the global plastics and rubber industry chain, this year’s exhibition is themed "Change · Collaboration · Co-Shaping a Sustainable Future," bringing together over 4,500 high-quality exhibitors from around the world and showcasing cutting-edge achievements and innovative applications of plastics and rubber technology across an exhibition area of 380,000 square meters.
This morning, all 19 exhibition halls of the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center were fully opened, attracting large crowds and creating a vibrant atmosphere. Industry elites, professional buyers, and media representatives from across the globe gathered here to witness the grand opening of this prestigious event.


Inside the exhibition halls, the booths of over 4,500 exhibitors were uniquely designed, featuring a diverse array of exhibits ranging from advanced materials and smart manufacturing solutions to innovative technological products and high-quality application cases. These comprehensively covered multiple downstream sectors, including automotive, electronics and electrical, packaging, healthcare, building materials, new energy, and sports and leisure.
On the opening day, the exhibition unveiled over 120 global or Asian debut technologies, drawing significant attention from visitors. Innovations such as PEEK for lightweighting humanoid robot joints, carbon fiber composites for reducing drone body weight, and single-wall carbon nanotubes for aerospace materials fully demonstrated the breakthrough progress of the plastics and rubber industry in high-end technology fields. Additionally, more than 1,600 raw material suppliers and over 3,800 machinery exhibits competed on the same stage, offering a vast array of innovative and cost-effective practical solutions to enhance cost efficiency and productivity in plastics and rubber manufacturing.
Among the over 4,500 global exhibitors, more than 980 were "Specialized, Refined, Unique, and Innovative" enterprises, including 260 national-level "Little Giant" companies. With innovation at their core, these enterprises showcased the exceptional capabilities of Chinese manufacturing in high-tech fields. From precision injection molding to high-performance materials, from green solutions to digital production, their exhibits not only reflected technological advancement but also highlighted the innovative vitality and international competitiveness of China's plastics and rubber industry.
