On 15 January 2025, the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Budget and Finance officially entrusted ABIDJAN EVENTS PEA, the Ivorian subsidiary of the GL events group, with the operation of the Abidjan Exhibition Centre for the next six years.
AN EXCEPTIONAL VENUE AND A DESTINATION IN THE MAKING
Located in the Port-Bouët commune, the Abidjan Exhibition Centre is an architectural feat and an exceptional event infrastructure for Ivory Coast and West Africa. Covering an area of 16 hectares, this modern complex offers multi-purpose spaces:
- A 6,500 m² exhibition area, ideal for trade fairs and exhibitions.
- A convention centre with 5,000 m² of usable space, including an auditorium with retractable seating, offering optimum flexibility for international conferences and conventions.
- It can accommodate over 5,000 people seated and over 9,500 standing, making it ideal for large-scale events.
Situated on the Ivorian coast, Abidjan is also a strategic crossroads for Africa, and has established itself as the economic heart of West Africa. The city's transport network is being modernised, including expanding road infrastructure and a future urban metro, which will make it easier for visitors and conference delegates to get around.
