From January 23 to 27, 2025, Sirha Lyon held its 22nd edition, bringing together global players in the restaurant, hospitality, and food industries. This flagship event, expected to welcome over 200,000 professional visitors and featuring 2,300 exhibitors, highlighted innovation and excellence across 140,000 m² of exhibition space. Recognized as an international benchmark for gastronomy and major Food Service trends, Sirha Lyon was not to be missed.

A PLATFORM FOR INNOVATION AND CULINARY DIVERSITY
More than just a trade show, Sirha Lyon was a global stage where expertise, creativity, and cultural exchange intersected. With 40 countries represented and 14 international pavilions, the event celebrated the world's culinary diversity. It showcased national specialties alongside technological and food innovations.
At the heart of the Sirha Innovations space, 630 new products were unveiled, while the Sirha Innovation Awards honored the boldest initiatives. This exploratory hub also hosted 60 startups driving transformation in areas such as plant-based alternatives, digital solutions, and sustainable practices.
GL EVENTS: THE DRIVING FORCE BEHIND THE EVENT
The success of Sirha Lyon’s hosting, event logistics, and organization was backed by the expertise of all GL events' divisions: Live, Venues, and Exhibitions. Together, they transformed Eurexpo Lyon into a flexible and immersive space, hosting key moments like the Arena Concours and the Sirha Food Forum. The latter served as a platform for strategic discussions on major industry challenges, including sustainability and evolving consumer expectations.

PRESTIGIOUS COMPETITIONS CELEBRATING CREATIVITY AND EXCELLENCE
Sirha Lyon was also renowned for its iconic culinary competitions, such as the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie (World Pastry Cup) and the Bocuse d’Or. These contests, which acted as springboards for international talent, pushed the boundaries of creativity and innovation every year. In 2025, a spectacular new competition, the Show Chocolat, showcased candidates' technical and artistic excellence.

As a trailblazer, Sirha Lyon 2025 stepped up its commitments to sustainability. Initiatives like Sirha Collect recycled organic waste, while exhibition materials were collected for reuse. In addition, strategic partnerships, such as the collaboration with BE WTR, aimed to eliminate plastic use and promote eco-responsible practices throughout the event chain.
