On the morning of October 13, the 2025 Shenyang Seed Industry Expo & Inaugural Conference of Shenyang Modern Metropolitan Area Agricultural Innovation and Technology Alliance was grandly held at Liaoning Industry Exhibition Hall. Shenyang Modern Metropolitan Area Agricultural Innovation and Technology Alliance Officially Established to Jointly Build a Regional Collaborative Innovation Hub
As one of the core highlights of this conference, the "Shenyang Modern Metropolitan Area Agricultural Innovation and Technology Alliance" was officially announced. The establishment of the alliance is a key measure to respond to the national call for promoting coordinated regional development and strengthening self-reliance and self-improvement in agricultural science and technology.
The alliance will focus on integrating the advantageous resources of scientific research institutes, institutions of higher learning, leading enterprises and technology promotion units within the Shenyang Modern Metropolitan Area, and build a high-level collaborative innovation platform integrating technology research and development, achievement transformation, talent exchange and information sharing.
By establishing a normalized cooperation mechanism, the alliance will focus on core areas such as key technology research for seed resources, demonstration and promotion of fine varieties, and application of smart agricultural technology. It aims to break through the bottlenecks of regional agricultural scientific and technological innovation, improve the modernization level of the industrial chain and supply chain, and provide continuous scientific and technological support and core driving force for the high-quality development of agriculture and comprehensive rural revitalization in the Shenyang Modern Metropolitan Area.
"Trinity" Linkage Model to Fully Demonstrate Seed Industry Innovation Achievements
Hosted by Shenyang Academy of Agricultural Sciences Technology Service Co., Ltd., Smart Olympic Exhibition (Harbin) Co., Ltd., Liaoning Black Land Media Co., Ltd., Yizhi Agricultural Consulting (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Liaoning Wanfu Seed Industry Co., Ltd., this seed industry expo takes "Seed Industry Innovating the 'Core' · 'Seeds' Guiding the Future" as its theme. It adopts a "trinity" linkage model of "field exhibition + hall exhibition + professional activities", with a total exhibition area of 220,000 square meters, systematically demonstrating excellent new crop varieties at home and abroad, cutting-edge seed industry technologies, intelligent protected agricultural equipment and innovative achievements of the entire seed industry chain.
Hall Exhibition Section
A 20,000-square-meter exhibition area was set up at Liaoning Industry Exhibition Hall, divided into three thematic exhibition halls: vegetable varieties, field crops and agricultural machinery, gathering more than 500 exhibitors.
The exhibition not only focused on displaying various innovative achievements, but also set up special areas such as national high-quality exhibitor displays, fresh food tasting and thematic activities, enhancing the interactivity and experience of the expo.
Field Exhibition Section
The 200,000-square-meter field exhibition area for crops located in the Science and Technology Park of Shenyang Academy of Agricultural Sciences is known as a "variety feast" in the field. It displays a total of 3,023 field and vegetable varieties, including 1,161 corn varieties, 903 soybean varieties, and nearly 1,000 vegetable varieties such as solanaceous fruits, melons, root vegetables and leafy vegetables, providing the best window for professional audiences to intuitively evaluate the performance of varieties.

During the conference, a number of professional activities were held, including the selection of excellent potential varieties, docking of supply and demand enterprises, sharing of new technologies, and industry case reports.
